Nowadays, I watch a lot of clips from that show on youtube.
Especially the ones from cycle 9, because me and one of the contestants have something in common.
And I also watch the videos that point out the problematic stuff about the show.
Like how the contestants have been treated.
And also how there were some really weird and questionable photoshoots. (e.g. there were two blackface photoshoots...)
When I was younger, I sometimes watched the Danish version.
I don't remember that much from it.
I did remember thinking that the host Baroness Caroline Fleming seemed so strict. (and I kind of found her unlikeable for that) But maybe she seemed strict because she wasn't that "smiley". Maybe it is because I saw commercials for a TV show, she was in, where she seemed nicer and more "smiley" and it felt weird for me to see her like that.
If I had rewatched the Danish version, I wonder if there would have been things, I would have found problematic.
EDIT: Okay, I was randomly watching a clip from the Danish version, and there is a part where the other contestants are weirded out by the contestant who revealed that she was pansexual. And one of the contestants even asked a weird question about it.
