    They’re also about to hit 500k albums in the US. Which is the most for a kpop gg :) ever :) hahahahahhahahaha

    It's 2023 so none of these achievements get to count. Too bad for NewJeans, but if they only debuted 10 years ago, we could acknowledge their record breaking achievements.


    Honestly no K-Pop records being broken will count for the rest of the time. You see, because uh, they weren't set during this arbitrary timeframe I have deemed as the acceptable window to break previously set records!

    Exactly! And the right place and right time is any day prior to July 22, 2022. The numbers count for any achievement before that date. Any accomplishments after get an * put beside it tbh

    I have no idea what you're talking about. All I know is it took 2nd gen and 3rd gen grinding to get kpop where it is today so a group like NJ can achieve what they have.

    And Twice is the highest selling girl group of all time and still very active so at best NJ is 3rd GG at the moment.

    Who cares about these new kids on the block? They owe their concepts, management, style, brands, music, budgets, stages, concert venues and brands to their predecessors, who should all be getting royalties for paving the road nice and smooth for these kids to walk on.

    Twice may not be selling as much as they use to but based on the Concert Tours they have more fans than NJ so wouldn't that make them bigger?

    S Tier refers to "Solidified Groups." Groups who are both solid career wise (have established themselves in the industry) AND solid in popularity (hugely popular both domestically AND internationally). No gg that I have listed comes close to those two group, that's a fact.
