His Korean songs are much better but we will see.

Singing in English = Maximizing market size. It’s a no-brainer decision. While some Koreans may not be happy about they will still fork out the $$$. Jungkook seeks world dominance and this is the way to attain it.

I don't think language matters all that much, and JK wanting his album to reach as many ears as possible makes sense.

Although it does beg the question of what even counts as kpop, since it's not really about musical qualities so much as the industry/language.

See... His voice is such that you can put him on any type of song be it pop or r&b or ballad or any other genre you can think about, it will just fit like a glove. And he also knows that. So I'm sure he will explore all the genres with his album or in the future...

My thoughts exactly when I mentioned Harry Styles in another thread. It brought out all the colors in his voice. I'm not saying he's only good for ballad songs though.

I agree. It seems that Taehyung also prefers to sing in English. Language is not so important anyway, the important thing is that there are songs that we can enjoy as listeners.
