    According to Munhwa Daily, YG's contract renewal process with the BLACKPINK members is proceeding relatively smoothly, except with Lisa, who is still in the process of reaching an agreement with the agency.

    Before the expiry of her exclusive contract in August, Lisa had been discussing whether to renew her contract with YG Entertainment. The agency is hoping for a "dramatic settlement" before the expiration of the period, but the difference in positions between the two sides is reportedly quite large.

    A Chinese media agency, who requested to remain anonymous, told Munhwa Daily, "We have been coordinating YG and Lisa's schedules to see if they will appear on our show, but they recently told us that it is difficult to discuss the schedule after August because the contract renewal with Lisa is unclear."

    On July 12th, YG Entertainment responded to Munhwa Daily's request to confirm the facts, saying, "It is because of the tour and personal schedule, and it has nothing to do with (re)contract status."

    Although YG Entertainment's statement is vague, Korean media outlets are interpreting this as the agency's acknowledgment of the Chinese company's claims about the recent schedule arrangement with Lisa and YG Entertainment.

    According to reports, BLACKPINK's future activities will only be decided after the official announcement of members' contract renewal. Until then, attention is focused on the path the members will eventually choose.

    Not referring to the initial report, its the later response from YG that the scheduling conflict is because of tour and personal stuff and not because of renewal.


    No one will know until the company or girls state it themselves but it's also OK to know Lisa out of the other members might have to negotiate harder knowing how her solo n album sales were handled.
