Obviously it's better than hate, but you can't eat from just positive comments. They need to be buying your merch, streaming your music, buying the stuff you endorse. If that ain't happening they might as well not say anything. And you don't even know if it's real or not most of the time. An out-of-touch company could be paying part-timers to write comments because they think that's how you market their idols rather than spending it on TikTok. The results speak for themselves.
Positive comments from k-netizens means nothing if they arent buying what you're selling

Agreed. That's why all the fake concern trolling and hate that idols get via Knetz or even Kmedia all end up meaningless. It's your fans that pay your bills. Yena being example #1. She's still selling like crazy right now, only 6k away from her Love War album sales, which would mean her third straight album with 100k Hanteo sales.

Albums sales are more related to fandom than knetz

That's exactly what i mean. Knetz are irrelevant, they dont buy albums anyway so why even bother with them? They went crazy shading Jisoo, even filed idiotic petitions in the Blue House or whatever, but the girl just went off with her solo debut and ended all of them. Garam, Hyunjin, BTS/BP dating scandals, Soojin, Yena, how many scandals have they gone crazy over, yet the subjects of the scandals have all just blown up even bigger after them.
