It’s 9 now! Where do you think it will peak?
But from Junho’s “Red Sleeve” success to Yoona’s “Big Mouth” and now “King the Land” breaking viewership ratings. Both leads are now starring in back to back successful k-drama shows!

SNSD keep winning. I'm happy for Yoona, int fans tend to underestimate her popularity, but numbers don't lie.
Damn JTBC has really good run in recent years they've have hits year by year or even in each half of year

Anyone that follows Kdramas knows these numbers are 99% down to Junho, let’s be real.
His popularity has rocketed in recent years and he has also become an acclaimed actor on top of a popular one (moving past the visual phase that idol actors such as Cha Eunwoo are stuck in)

Not saying that the rating comes from her, but even being called to these big projects shows Yoona brand value in SK, a lot of 2nd gen idols do minor roles or act in less popular dramas.
Junho popularity is interesting, before the ones who were most talked were Taecyeon and Nichkhun, now he's the most famous member of 2pm, a dark horse for sure.

They need to start putting respect on her name. Even Junho praised Yoona's success and said he would work hard not to shadow her. They're a great pair and their big in their own right and it shows in the drama. Since the start of the episode, it had a huge debut in viewership.

Imagine calling Yoona a nugu when she starred in a couple smash hit movies, nominated and won for best actress awards, had a very successful drama recently and currently having another all while on top of being a her usual endorsement machine self.

Nah. Yoona pulls her own.
She had a big hit with EXIT just a few years ago.
And her recent dramas have done well.
International fans have never recognized her popularity.
She's a household name in Korea. She has been since her breakout way back in 2008 in You Are My Destiny which hit 40% ratings in Korea.
She's had her highs and lows in dramas for sure.
But she's had a lot of recent success and recognition.
This idea that she's not contributing to this success is magical thinking.

Yea Beesnkees is seemingly misinformed.
I'm loving this show.. Finally a drama I can get into that harkens back to the old school Kdramas of old.
I'm so happy for Yoona.
Congrats! I'm waiting for it to finish to watch it in one go

People knowing you on its own does not make you a ratings draw
She has been acting for 15 years now but does not have one standout role or character. She is nearly always playing second fiddle on draw and importance to her male co-stars.
One of you even quotes Exit but if you’ve see the film, it is all about Jo Jung-Suk’s character arc. Her character gets near zero background and development other than Jo Jung-Suk having a crush on her and then helping him in the second half.
Confidential Assignment is Hyun-Bin’s film with a buddy cop aspect with Yoo Hae-Jin. Big Mouth is based around Lee Jong-Suk’s character. K2 is Ji Chan-wook’s show and I even recall people disliking Yoona’s acting and character to the extent a lot of people thought the romance should have been with the antagonist. Even King the Land will mainly be about Junho’s growth to see if he deserves or wants/needs the hotel. That’ll me the main overarching story in the back aside from the romance.
All in all, if she was a big ratings draw like you guys seem to think, she’d get roles to play the most important character in her shows like the top actresses do.
