A2K (JYPE US GG) Contestants Identities Already Found By Social Media

Damn! People are quick. We already have their full names and some socials. That's kind of scary af, ngl. All people need was a quick look, name, and they were tracked down. Kiera Grace seems to be the one with the most online presence.

The girlies are cute. Assuming we'll get a look at more contestants the more clips come out.

Hope these girlies have wiped all of their social media accounts.

Though chances are, JYPE made sure of that before they were fully allowed to participate in this.

Them being from the US mean the chances of someone finding "cancel" worthy material increases exponentially.

Just like a 9 member GG ain't flying in the US. Neither is a 12/13 year old in a GG with 17 year olds. Maybe in the 1990s, but these days, nobody wants to see that. Let her go to Disney Channel or something (though maybe not knowing what happens to Disney stars later in life).

It's in relation with Republic Records.

It's like the partnership JYPE and Sony have with NiziU in Japan.

JYPE will assemble and train the group, handle the Korea promotions, and Republic will handle US promotions. (Hopefully they handle song creation too.)

Yeah, though I do think it will be hard for anyone younger than 14 to debut in this group. Depending how soon after this competition the group will debut, I'm not sure of her chances. I can't see JYPE debuting a 13 year old though. I think that it would throw off the balance of the group, and it would end up being another Chaeryeong, Chaeyeon, and Somi situation from Sixteen where they were just too young to debut in Twice.

Of course, the age difference would not be as extreme as between the oldest to youngest member (Somi and Nayeon who are 6 years apart), but I think it would limit the kind of image the group would have.

Edit: I will add that her image is more mature than the regular 13 year old (kind of like Hyein from New Jeans), so JYPE may take that into consideration). Though I definitely think the other 12/13 year just would not fit. I don't want them to debut a 13 year old though, so may make me biased with this opinion lol.

Well, this is supposed to be a US based group in collaboration with Republic Records, so I don't think we will have a large amount of Koreans in this group.

I think there will definitely be at least one (even if they are mixed). We've only seen 1 teaser so far, so the next teaser will probably reveal more contestants.
