So what was Hate Rodrigo even supposed to be?

I still don't fucking get, even after going through the lyrics. A social message against hate and jealousy? An actual hate letter to Olivia? A love letter to Olivia? Acknowledgment of the fact that she's copying Olivia? I don't fucking understand.
