I don't like him because of the rumor that he fired the female writer for "The Idol" because he didn't like how the show focused so much on Lily as the female lead. The rumor has it that he did not like the direction of the original series, so he brought in Sam Levinson who then took the female empowerment aspect out of the show and turned it into the "soft core torture porn" we have now.

Reading some of the scenes about how his character brutalized Lily's character just made feel like he may be a closeted misogynist who wanted an outlet to abuse women. Of course, I don't know this man personally, but the fact they went in such a weird direction after Sam was hired makes me think, "So...this was your vision?" And makes him come across kind of creepy.

His misogynist behavior doesn't just start with the new show. I enjoy listening to his songs but if you actually pay attention to the lyrics they can definitely be seen as misogynistic, he even had to address it in 2020. I definitely agree with keyboardwarrior7 that the show is an outlet for his misogyny and im glad more people are seeing that.
