And Snsd sold a million albums during their peak, long before BP or any other gg after them, so I guess the market was always their but it just needed the right music?! or GG?! to make people buy a million albums.

They will still be doing 2M-3M pre-orders cause that might be the peak but obviously they will always be outliers like BP/BTS/17/skz & whoever else rises to their level

? They got a certification for 1M from the official Japanese institute RIAJ for it though, that was a certified million.

Their first Japanese album is certified million by RIAJ which I believe is for one million shipments, kinda like Gaon/Circle. They didn't reach one million confirmed sales through Oricon, kinda like Hanteo but they only count sales in Japan.

So it depends if you count shipments or actual sales. Since most people care more about Circle over Hanteo I think it's fair that they should be counted as "million sellers".
