I just changed my perspective. Like when I was younger, all the streaming, voting, buying the stuff, following every little thing was super important. Then I stepped away and just followed the music. Then quarantine happened and I fell back in love with (some of) the content from my favorite groups and chatting with other folks about it. (Like when you’re pumped about the Baekhyun online concert and want to talk to someone about it.) So I think I’ll probably always like it if I find groups and music I like, enjoy some of the social media stuff, go to concerts, but like I don’t need to buy a candle or a bracelet or get photo cards...again, I just the think way I like it is different.

i've been in it since i was a literal kid. using cds at the age of 6-9 and then getting pulled into youtube at 10.

I go in and out of kpop pretty consistently since I first got into it in middle school. As far as officially be done and never come back, probably when my 2 current bias groups disband and the rest of 3rd/2nd gen groups I like disappear as well

Newer groups just don't interest me so it will be sad when the day comes

I was never locked inside the stan culture of K-Pop.

Till the day all the groups I stan disband then yes, if not then I'll continue enjoying kpop.

Interesting question. Yesterday marked ten years to the day that I first discovered K pop through my daughter and I did not think I would still be listening to it today. I am a rare breed to be a fan in my fifties, but I have gotten into Aespa and BTS now so will hang around for them.

aespa last group from SM im being invested in and maybe last group in kpop I've met some of the most toxic unlikable people through kpop !

As long as there is good music I will stay. Maybe I won't be as active in the k-pop community as I am now, but I will still listen to k-pop.
