I just discovered this genre called Japanese shoegaze, and wow...

I love shoegaze in general because it's very chill, but never really looked deeply into Japanese shoegaze. I'll be listening to a lot of this for some time.

Thanks for the recommendations! I’ve listened to quite a bit of SPiCYSOL before. I discovered them, especially the lead singer Kenny, thanks to Terrace House. The tracks I liked from them weren’t shoegaze, but there’s still the chill sound that I love.

I really like this genre regardless of what language it's in. Apparently, when I discussed this with a relative of mine who's also passionate about music, he said there are two types of shoegaze. One's louder and more aggressive while the other is more laid-back and chill. I gravitate towards the chill side more these days.
