Well, it makes sense cuz:
1) the life expactancy keeps rising, which means the economy should support retired people for longer
2) the population is aging, which means the economy should support more retired people
3) birth rates are falling, which means there are less young people to support the economy
Combine all three and you have a recepee for disaster if the retirement age isn't raised.
The life expectancy is rising tho the health expectancy doesn't match with the retirement age.
And that is partly thanks to the unhealthy food from the Anglo-Saxons

But to be honest this is just beginning. Once you are closer to your retirement, your retirement age is probably closer to 70 years old. In my country retirement age is right now 64 years and 3 months, but for me it is estimated 68 or something and a lot will happen before millenials and gen z can retire.
And at the same time the health expectancy is decreasing so you won't get any pension
