IDK his religion but maybe he is Muslim and stops using the internet (?) I mean I know people who do this during ramadan, or at least people told me online that some Muslim people do that, no music, no tv, no computer till ramadan is over

If he is Muslim, then that could most likely be a reason.

During this month a lot of Muslims will leave behind most worldly things and just focus on themselves, and spirituality. And the nights are usually busy since we are usually up until sunrise praying.

I aspire to reach that level one day to be honest. Technology can be a double edged sword and disease at times.

I hope he is alright, and is well.

I noticed a lot of people have left or are inactive now.

Ah, oh interesting.

Though the thing w/ Ramadan is that, according to the Islamic calendar, it’s not fixed like a typical calendar. It‘s always being pushed back by a week or two every year. So last year Ramadan didn’t start in March, but in April-May, this year it’s March-April, so that could be another thing to consider.

As a fellow Aussie, I wondered why I hadn't seen him around. Either he is busy or got sick of the changes here. Can't say I blame him to be fair.

iirc he's chinese-australian. still in china there is a sizeable population of muslim-chinese. Edit: to be clear I don't know whether or not he is or isn't; I never asked nor have I ever been told.

Regardless I have noticed his absence.

His posting is quite intermittent.
