But however on phone I don't have ads no more for whatever reason, they come very barly on now but I mostly only have ads when I watch YT-shorts
Also when I was on my computer I once thought the adblock broke because now with YT-shorts some people put their ads up as shorts instead of making an advertisment and I hate it cause oh boy some small buisnesses are annoying. There is for example this channel where a woman tells rude stuff about ugly jewlery in her shorts even tho it is the jewlery she is selling on her website. Another channel I hate who often pops up is about a AI-voice who tells you stuff about a cat and what products the person was using in the video like "I noticed how crusty my cat's toebeans looked like but with the (brand)'s (name of product) I could solve the issue quickly. Just gently rub tbe (product name) onto the toebeans, your cat will love it. (info on where to shop)"

I swear they at least should provide options to the users about what kinds of adds they are willing to get (I desperately want to block political and other unsavoury adds)

Some TV-ads in Germany are so annoying, same goes to radio-ads. There is a radio-ad for example who is an ad for making ads. Really it goes for example something like "Hi, this is Marco from Marco's Pizzaria. I wanted to tell you about my friend Paul who opend up a cafe called Paul's Cafe near my restaurant. I love to drink the coffee he sells there so check it out" than another voice says: "This is what it would sound like if you do an ad on your own - radio, rememberable , stays in your head"
This is how ads on TV look like here in Germany (there is no totally new ad-video since nobody saves all new ads to Youtube lol, so you get to see older ads)
Some newer ads are also on YT but sometimes companies delet them when the ad-period where they use the are ended or as in the case of a supermarket had to delet the ad off of YT since peopel complained about how sexual it was. The sexual content was .... the ad for the German supermarket chain Kaufland was a person put a fresh pear on a table who looked very juicy and all of a suddon all other fruits in the kitchen became horny and squirted seeds and juice after the pear was sheeding their peel off ... yeah well ...
