idk, I'm not there when gfriend was alive.

I'm curious too...

Ive for both songs and concepts, tho the styling in navillera was a step up for gfriend

I adore Ive but the run of Me Gusta Tu, Rough, and Vailera was pretty legendary for me. I think Ive loses this one because Eleven is good but feels weak to me compared to say Love Dive and After Like.

GFriend's initial songs were better.

Both peaked with their #2 song in Korea.

GFriend is a prime example of great in Korea for a short period, but limited outside Korea.

Gfriend songs are way better in my opinion, the instrumental, the vocals, everything. Me Gustas tu and Rough are in my Kpop top 5 songs.
