BTS thriving during military enlistment unlike other male groups - Why?

    Jimin becoming first K soloist to top Spotify Global, breaking sales records, Jhope, RM albums acclaimed by critics, all members getting luxury endorsements - LV, Celine, Dior, Calvin Klein, Suga solo tours selling out arenas quick. BTS seems even more busy and successful now compared to before. Meanwhile most male idol groups start fading during military enlistments. For example, people say military enlistment slows down Exo progress. Why BTS is the exception?

    Groups like Exo, Shinee, … no longer put out as much work and is not as popular the moment they enlisted, yet BTS is more relevant than ever. Everyone was going crazy about their fashion deals. Their collab songs became hits: Rush Hour, Left and Right, Vibe. Jhope/RM albums are critically acclaimed. Jungkook performed at Worlds Cup. Jimin is releasing solo album soon and 3 more after and will all break sales records. They still won most awards at award shows. How did BTS manage to thrive more…
