If China and Korea can have a better relationship in the future, they should absolutely do a space opera movie with idols from both countries. Kpop idols, a lot of them do have many features that makes them look like a anime character. China's movie production is quite high-quality nowadays, judging from the movie in MeiQi song.

Funny thing is "Wandering Earth" is on Netflix and so is the "Space Sweepers" from Korea.

I think Lee Sooman's Asia Hollywood would happen once the THAAD ban lifts. There are signs of it already.

There is already already large scale collaboration between China and Japan.

And you can't really talk anime or sci-fi in Asia without Japan :)
