Just let Twice choose those suboptimal concepts. Once they are bored or burnt out of those concepts, they will go back to things that they are good at aka songs that I like the most. Set Me Free is still a decent BOP

We don't know what pool of songs they had to work with. Maybe that was the best song of all the songs they had to choose from.

Or maybe it's like a Dreamcatcher situation... the style of song we like might not fit the style Twice actually wants, it's quiet common that groups don't like the concept they are given. Like I doubt NMIXX likes their concept but they just do it because that's their job.

Or Twice just really wants to show us a different side of them. Either way, I support their decision, as much as kpop is a product for us, just for the girls sake, I enjoy knowing this was the song they wanted to perform.

This is the bare minimum of involvement JYPE should let them have. This is something I'd expect from a group as big Twice after 8 years and having renegotiated their contracts, so yeah, no, not as surprised as you and isn't as much as a big deal to me.

I think its great they get to choose their songs. After 8 years od performing what someone else tells them too, having some freedom in what they do incredible, very frw can say that in kpop or just their job in general.

They also didn't say they were gonna choose all songs moving forward unless I miss the part? The only chose this one right?

And how the song comes out still ultimately come down to the song producer, so we're still in need of a better production team.
