How did nugu group Limelight manage to sell well like Newjeans/Ive already?

nah i’d argue that both of their sales look “sus” by the normal standards of how groups usually move albums lol. i’ve neither seen such a steep drop off after the first day for the rest of the week (like with limelight) nor a very abnormally consistent number of sales for every day of the first week (like with triples). they could both be legit or they could be not, but I wouldn’t say the weird “consistency” of triples doesn’t look sus compared to other groups. but hey maybe they’re the exception to the rule
actually other nugu groups have drops too so it’s not that sus

The 2nd thread is interesting information but what I'm wondering is, if it was fans of this one member, why would they buy more for the official debut than the predebut album? Like why would they care whether it's the predebut or the official debut considering both albums have about the same number of songs. I guess that some would buy both album versions for the official debut so double the albums.

Found out from YT comments that Yeseo and Mashiro from Kepler are likely gonna join this group when they finish with Kepler. Plus this group already has another GP999 contestant, Miu. And Ikon is their labelmate.
Add up all these factors and you could argue that 35k isnt all that surprising.
Plus, i finally listened to the song. It's another mfing nugu bop. Tribe's We Are Young, Stayc's Teddy Bear, and this song are killing it as the top three songs of February. The other songs have risen to 8 out of 10, i think this song could actually be a 9.

I think the ceo of 143 is savy and experienced. He was a popular underground rapper in the 90s and has industry connections. It’s likely why iKON decided to sign on with them and successful planning, marketing, and connections, contributed to Limelights growth and success. They also have had really success trainees in girls planet w Mashiro and Yesseo making it to Kep1er and their boys planet trainees are currently doing well too. If 143 keeps up the effort, they have potential to be a strong force in the industry and I hope they can get there💪🏼

That thread explains nothing LMAO Ikon isn't that big to bring them that type of album sales and Jinhwan appearance would have brought more views on their YouTube than anything else and it didn't, and the "potential" Kepl1er members explanation is weird why would their fans support a group that they don't know whether they will be part of it or not, everything about their sales is weird and no explanation make sense.

Very front loaded, maybe they announced fan call/meet events that made fans bulk preorder?
