Chris Lee said after the Hybe-SM merger, Hybe gets to control 89% of all concert income in K-O-R-E-A.
Whether you support Chris Lee or not, that is true.
In terms of concerts, Hybe and SM had the market cornered.
List of acts which had fan meetings/concerts in the Olympic Stadium (only acts debuting after 2005 included so people like H.O.T and Psy not included.)
TVXQ - Fan meeting (JYJ had a concert so even though they were not SM at that point of time they are not counted again)
(omitted)
5 of 6 acts which had a concert/fan meeting at the Olympic Stadium now becomes Hybe
Those who had fan meetings/concerts at the Gochuck dom
EXO
BTS
Big Bang, no longer active as a whole
Wanna One, no longer active
X1, no longer active
Lim Youngwoong
Other than Lim Youngwoong, who is not part of the discussion, the only active acts who did a concert / fan meeting are from Hybe, and SM, soon to be part of Hybe.
The only company who now has an active singer who had a concert there and not part of Hybe is Edam, which effectively only has one singer of renown with absolutely zero impact outside of K-O-R-E-A.
In fact, it might be fine to excluded (omitted) from this calculation since (omitted) is not part of the Kpop revolution.
If we omit (omitted), then 100% of the singers who had a concert in the Olympic Stadium and the Gochuck are Hybe idols and a trottist. (Omitted) is the only blemish in the perfect domination of Hybe, but that problem can easily be solved by not mentioning her anywhere in the record books, saying it might have happened in some other universe in some other timeline.
