Why are girl groups recently all flopping on charts (Red Velvet, StayC,…)?

This a first of nct dream and txt since a very long time most of their comeback fail to chart and even when they do chart longevity isn't there, Itzy had an amazing charting with sneakers same thing with Red velvet and their song feel my rythme, Twice is a pre release English song, stayc always charted this wan nothing new all their songs take time to rise but once it does it stays for a very long time on the charts

stayc still has time to rise but honestly teddy bear is not it. their music is going in a strange direction since beautiful monster. run2u was also a very divisive song, but it still had the charm that made stereotype and aspa blow up imo. they're delving too much into generic now while missing the catchy chorus part. like, beautiful monster and teddy bear chorus are very forgettable.
i feel sad bc i absolutely loved them since debut but they're kinda losing me since my other fav ggs lesserafim and newjeans have no misses for me so far.
Not you talking about generic when you got NJ basically copying Red Velvet's Bad Boy for their entire discography

Anyone with big fandoms can land top 3 on Melon Top 100 chart now with depressed UL counts. THat's the realtime chart and as worthless as Bugs or Genie.
The relevant charts are Melon Daily and Weekly, and i'm pretty sure none of those BGs hit top 3.

The market is oversaturated, and the new girl groups are cannibalizing the old girl groups (especially the non-big 4 ggs) plus, their music is declining in quality.

Idk about others but Seventeen has always done well. They didn’t chart as high as other ggs, but Hot, Darling, RWY, Is It Still Beautiful, Thanks, Home, Oh My, A-Teen, 9-Teen all did pretty well on charts and they were quite stable. Especially for their comeback Hot, over 3,300 hours on the 24Hits chart.

no it didnt. While it peaked on top5, its longevity on chart is very bad. Already out of top100
It's still better than most bgs

Twice's last comebacks were Talk that Talk and POP! Moonlight/Sunrise is a pre-release English song, not a comeback.
Pre-releases are 100% comebacks. They gave it an MV, they want it to do well.
