No, no I don't

I don't entirely feel comfortable bringing more people in the world as it is now, on a slow, steady decline. While I love my family, I don't really have any feelings about continuing the blood line, if it dead ends at me, so be it.

And I feel too old for it now. I don't want to be an "old man" with teens/early 20's children. I dont want to try raising kids as my own health declines and I grow more and more out of touch with what they are interested in. I don't want to run the risk of me dying while they are still young and not having a father.

And I'm selfish. I like the freedom of movement, travel and choice not being weighed down by kids entails.

So... nah... no kids for this guy

Yes, but I understand your perspective. There's a major shift in priority and time management once you have kids. That's why I am doing now the things that I think will be far-fetched to prioritize when you have kids.

I do, I want to a father one day. Not right now I don't have my life together yet but it'd be nice to be in my 30s with a stable life, a wife i love, and kids

I always wanted kids but I always said I will wait until I can afford to raise them.

I now can afford it, but you can't have kids alone.

Apparently it's a two people process.

My advice to others? If you want kids, just go for it, don't wait for anything else.

I have two, 10 and 6. I love being a dad. They give me so much joy by doing the smallest things.

Earth is crowded with people, raising the child until the age of majority is too much work (the age of majority is 16 in some countries, 18 in most countries, and fully an adult at the age of 21 according to Wikipedia), the child might want to go to college (which is expensive), and a burden of other things made me choose to not have a child.

I do want kids I don't want kids in this world. Don't want a daughter who has to go in the same bathroom as *censored* this world is getting worse and worse.

That being said if kids come along I'll give them my all.
