XG considered
-
-
They been doing that for all their singles so far
A group made of japanese girls singing exclusively in English that promotes just in Korea (so far)
-
I've been considering them kpop since they promote in Korea (and cuz in too lazy to go to the jpop section)
-
-
I think it would eventually make sense to drop a Japanese version of their full albums. It wouldn't be hard for them to stand out in a good way over there.
-
Do they all speak Korean? Or most of them?
-
Because they promote in Korea. Theyโre kpop they sing in English. Theyโre a JPOP group.

Do they all speak Korean? Or most of them?
Yes. Members have been shown speaking Korean in behind the scenes content and whatnot.

I think they are like Niziu
they are the exact opposite of NiziU.
NiziU is a Japanese group just like XG yes.
But it's produced by a Korean company(JYP), sings in Japanese and is active in Japan(will debut in Korea this year)
XG is produced by a Korean subsidiary of a Japanese company(Avex), sings in English and is active in Korea.
They are not K-pop and they are not J-pop either according to their CEO.
Style is similar to K-pop for XG because of their producer but they deny being K-pop.
In my opinion they are both.
