This is a debate that i think is answered by the group. Are they artists or are they products? Theyre an artist then continue to make art. If youre a product then stop when you aren’t selling well.

BTS especially used to get anxious about when they will decline. But they reached a conclusion that they will keep on performing till the last listener leaves and I think that should be the only right answer for any act that has made enough from music to continue living
If my faves were nugus, then I’ll rather advise them to cash up on their breakthrough and during subsequent comebacks, if they keep failing, then they should call it quits

Breaking up at peak for anything really basically means lasting for a few years and that's it unless you're like Messi level of talent who can stay the best almost forever. Id rather they continue to carry no matter how much their popularity dissipates as they'll be around for fans, they've already cemented themselves as their peak afterall

This seems sensible. Nugus won't be able to support themselves, but established acts have made enough to just do what makes them happy.

What constitutes a personal connection? Do they have to write/ compose/ produce or is interpreting the music through performance enough? Many groups aren't allowed to be creators.
