Do you think too early success actually is that first nail to 'fan interest' coffin?

So far only Itzy peaked with their debut song afaik. Cheer Up, Next Level, Love Dive, were first comebacks songs, not debut obviously.

New Jeans might follow in their footsteps since Hybe Boy and Attendant are showing amazing longevity, Hybe Boy has a chance to challenge Love Dive and Dynamite for the second greatest accomplishment in Kpop (most weeks in the top 10 of Melon Weekly). Ditto is blowing up huge now but we dont know its longevity potential.

there are groups who's success in the beginning have carried them to greater and newer and better heights

there are groups who peaked upon early success

how does one know where one's success will go - one cannot predict the future

Once a group keep getting success with every song they release, people will expect more from them and if they fail to meet those expectations, that is when things starts to change.

But who knows really, nobody can predict what will happen in the future.

Like other had implied, getting an award or any achievements are indeed a good thing. But then it comes with a burden called "people expectation".

The next comeback would be really pressuring

Its okay to celebrate early success but I mean the true test will be on how to maintain the success... Lbr in Kpop, fans flock to the new trendy group but the question is will they maintain the interest (which is hard tbh, only a few stand in a long period of time) and that is the question that will be answered in the future.
