How would you feel if your siblings prefer their friends over you??

Yes, I'd feel betrayed and would stop helping them.

You can pick your friends but not your family. So it's not that surprising if you get along better with your friends.

But the situation you described is plain rudeness so I'd exactly return their behavior.

Fine really, I don't help them for anything in return, I help them because I want to help and cause I can. Its probably because I'm the oldest so I've always felt more responsible for them especially when we were growing up due to difficult circumstances, they see me as a second mother. Plus I can take care of myself and don't really need anything from them. Lucky for me they're grateful in there own way now (although when they were younger not so much) but even if they weren't it wouldn't bother me.

My siblings are not like this, tho I respect that they might like their friends more 'cause we don't share the same interests anymore, but if they treated me badly I wouldn't treat them nicely either. I'd be indiferent to them.

Pretty much. Yeah it's happened before, I just don't see the point of them trying to be there or trying to help if they don't really want to cause any offer of help would be half arsed in that case and not helpful at all.
