Display MoreAsian pickles are different than your basic Western pickles too. It depends on the type of Asian pickles (not all are cucumbers but can be others like radish, burdock etc.) they put on the pizza, I would try it before I rule it out.
Corn on pizza sometimes works - it also depends on what is the other ingredients. The Asian food palette is way more adventurous and diverse and yes, we have adapted the pizza to more Asian flavors. I don’t see it gross or wrong - more choices.
In Thailand, we also have spicy seafood pizza, BBQ pizza, and so on…and of course, the basic toppings are always there too.
This whole thread doesn’t come across well - it reeks of ewwww Asian food.

While the conversation in this article is actually a bit wrong, in that we are talking about pickles ON pizza, it turns out that in Korea, they eat pickles, as in western style burger pickles, WITH pizza

Saying that, mid last year, the same type of pickle on pizza DID come to Australia. Dominos has "burger topping pizza" which is just ground beef, cheese, bacon and pickles on pizza. And a bright yellow special sauce that did... colourful bathroom things according to reddit.
