Are Civil Discussions a Thing of the Past?

I think it is because you have relationship levels with people you know irl. Someone that is just a casual acquaintance that you just have small talk with you will be very civil and hide a lot of your ideas/thoughts etc.

Where is with a close friend or family member irl you might say stuff you would not to casual acquaintances.

Where as online because it removes the human factor we just say stuff that we would never tell a stranger to a bunch of random strangers etc.

Not exactly, I wasn't including family or friends. I purely meant strangers irl (on a rare occasion this extends to strangers on the Internet but I'm not very social online generally, I just observe the fuckery that goes on)

I tend to have long discussions with people, not sure how or for what reasons (same with when they share unnecessary personal Info about themselves with me out of the blue).

I would say it's probably down to my demeanor in general and somewhat my indifference to most things, it's especially surprising considering I don't live in the best type of area but you know that.

Lol I don't think you did.... I dunno. Actually maybe now that I think about possibly, but I don't think it was awkward, I'm just lazy too reply most of time (like I perfer to talk with my voice rather than type, much quicker for me lol) and certain things don't really need a reply.
