But isn't it just a joke? Either way they don't exactly need Cube tbh, they are self produced, etc and they are reaching higher peaks every cb. They still have time to think through.

They don't need Cube, but they don't really need another company either. So why not stay in Cube? It worked pretty well for them so far. Or maybe a Big 3 company will make them an offer they can't refuse (read: lots of money thrown at them). Ultimately it's gonna come down to income shares. If Cube is willing to give them very beneficial contracts, they might decide to resign. UNLESS there's some dissatisfaction we don't know about.

For now the members seem to joke about leaving the company. But it's possible they joke about it so openly because they're not serious about it. Maybe if they were really considering getting out, they would be more quiet. Or not! Shuhua is quite a loose cannon so who knows really.

Another thing, they need to maintain that level of success of popularity in order to have the most leverage, whether they renew or sign somewhere else. And it's something hard to predict.

true, they are very loyal even they still using a broken furniture rather than buying a new one out of loyalty

There would be some branding rights, and perhaps some songs may be registered to cube, even if Soyeon is the main producer, there is still a lot of people involved in creating a song.

But for branding, their name is kind of weird anyways, so it can be adjusted.

i don't think they are treated that bad, they are one of few ggs with freedom in whatever they wanted to do, the girls have opinion in everything regarding their career, from music to promo, good individual promo too, most of the members has or will have a solo and Gidle is not even 5 years group, fans will always complain, you know the saying, the the grass is always greener on the other side

As for the members, i think they are joking, if they want to stay as a group, will renew and get a better contract or will go their own way
