nepo kids seriously need to shut up about how hard they work and how their connections didn't help them at all. How hard is it to say, I am deeply grateful for the doors my privilege has opened for me to allow me to pursue my passions, I acknowledge I am super lucky in that regard. I can only hope I will be able to prove myself on my own terms so I'll always strive to do my best.
Hire me as your PR! Nobody wants to hear your woe is me, I grew up rich and famous and people are constantly pointing it out tale.
the truth is if they had the talent to stand out on their own, people wouldn't call them out for nepotism in the first place. Plenty of showbiz family actors and actresses in the industry are not constantly called nepo babies because they actually have talent. if you're tiny and yet modelling for big brands, well, kid, no offense. And the less said about your acting, the better.
I can't believe Lily-Rose's audacity of comparing herself to a doctor's child lol, the entertainment industry is literally one of the only places where you need ZERO qualifications to become rich and famous. A doctor's kid is gonna have a leg up too, no doubt, but they still have to pass exams, study and work.. What does an actor's kid have to do? right, nothing. Be born famous and stay famous, oh wow, such hardship. My heart bleeds for you.

This thread has kept track of all the models who have either spoken up in agreement with Vittoria or liked her story. There's a lot.

Being born pretty and being a celebrity kid aint the same.
A pretyt poor person is still a poor person who needs to put their effort out there. I know models who came from poor backgrounds, the amount of work they gotta put in to even get somewhere where their beauty can be highlighted is a lot
Being pretty isn't gonna give you a condo to stay in when you got to travel across the country for one audition and it doesn't work out.
Nepo Babies don't just got the genetic lottery. They got the genetic, celebrity, monetary and social network lottery.

As i said its relative. Just being born in a place where being a model is even a viable career choice is part of the lottery.
Ask someone living in the slums or a rural village in Niger or North korea and see what they think about it. The gulf between them and this model, born in one of the most prosperus countries on earth, is way bigger than the gulf between her and Lily Rose. She also was born into an incredible wealthy family (even if they only had an average income) and opportunites compared to the majority of the human population.

A lot of models come from places that are slums or rural. Is it a lot less likely than more developed nations? Sure, but modeling isn't and has never been purely a 1st world job. Pretty people get scouted the planet over.
Of course privilege is relative. Everything is relative, everyone has some level of privilege unless they're dead.
Bringing up being pretty to compare to being a child of wealth is such a woefully incomparable discussion that it's disingenuous.

My point really was just winning the lottery, be it where you are born, family, friends, upbringing etc, i shouldnt have added just genetic before it.
This is basically one very privileged person complaining about another person being slightly more privileged in a career thats only possible for an extreme minority of the population to begin with.
That said, lily rose comparing herself to that of a doctor is the dumbest thing ive read today.

pretty privilege exists but it's just unnecessary to try and make the conversation about nepotism about that, or different economic backgrounds of countries, instead when the model industry is literally full of beautiful people from all kinds of backgrounds who never advance past the running from casting to casting to pay the bills level. Lily-Rose isn't "slightly" more privileged than Vittoria, if Vittoria was 5'2 like Lily, she'd never have set foot in any casting agent's office, it's as simple as that. That's not being slightly more privileged. Vittoria certainly got lucky to get where she is now but she's not wrong to point out that Lily started at the level (or actually, the level above) where Vittoria managed to get. Her comment wasn't meant to say that she's got it harder than anyone in the industry, she was merely comparing her own experience with Lily's. Obviously the industry is even harder for models from poor backgrounds and non-white ethnicities, but that's not her point to make tbh
