It’s the way bp is always getting the insults in these threads but still used as the base line lol

Ive - 4th Gen TWICE
NewJeans - 4th Gen BLACKPINK (i really wanna say Aespa frfr, but idk their music...)
Le sserafim - 4th Gen RED VELVET
NewJeans remind me of Red Velvet since just like RV i had a hard time to distinguish half of the members, even right now i still can't tell the difference between 2 members
But overall i don't see any comparation between all 3 groups, none of them are similar sound wise, concept wise or promo wise.
IVE - Twice, different sound, different concepts, more focused on individual promo compared to twice. the only similar thing is that is clear they were build for japan market too but you can say the same about lesserafim
NewJeans - Blackpink, same as IVE, different everything, more comebacks, NJ is about to pass with their next comeback BP's songs in 2 years, BP are very focused on individual branding, which is the opposite of NJ, between all 3 rookie ggs i think they are the most homogeneous
LSRF - RV, i don't see at all, no music, no concept, no branding, like anything at all

I don't any of these groups having hardcore fans on the twice level let alone bp
Ive will always be behind in fandom compared to big 4 (no, I don't believe their album sales are real) + their fandom only cares about Wonyoung and less Yujin. Even in Korea, they only care about this duo and wanted only these 2 to debut while the other 4 are always behind the wall when it comes ranking. They even lost to NJ in voting.
Le Sserafim are this generation's Red Velvet without Irene. They also don't have the it factor.
NewJeans are too cookie unicorn soft pink cloud-ish for the West. BP also had this manufactured baby voice using on purpose image but on the stage, they were completely different. To me it feels like they will this generation's f(x).
Aespa too because of SM and their music+promotion.
I hate yg but I see
Ygngg having the most potential bc 1. Bp sister group tag alone will give the most hype 2. Yg knows the best when it comes to releasing western friendly music. Unless they decide to switch and be like treasure, I see them having the most fans and be on top.

what you said about ive is not true at all. even if you exclude wy and yj..
leeseo already became viral and well known by gp since debut
liz was in everyones mouths from eleven to ld for better or worse
rei started the gyaru trend pose in korea and is the second kpop idol to ever be on the cover of vogue japan, only behind no one less than blackpink's lisa, and is an embassador to a brand both in korea and japan
gaeul had a massive viral moment in sk and have one of the biggest cbars in china (100k+)

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy.so even if you exclude wy and yj its clear that the other girls are making a name for themselves and doing better than most gg members from other groups.
and at this point its obvious people are just saying ive is only wy and yj only to downplay ive.
wy and yj are the most popular 4th gen idols in sk rn, if they were in other group they would STILL be the most popular members dont get it twisted.

NewJeans has a way smaller core fanbase than IVE so your whole comment make no sense, NJ only pass IVE in voting when the other hybe stans vote for them, when they are against other Hybe artists as well rookies, they are way behind both IVE and LSRF, they get votes from company stans but have way less stans on their own than IVE and LSRF

Nobody is talking about concepts😐💀
We're talking about future popularity for the 3 groups.
We know they're nowhere alike, but in regards to again popularity and etc... That's the set up I'd go with

None.
Globally, hip hop or hip-hop shaded pop is the dominant musical style. None of these three groups have that.
BP had/has a swagger and an attitude that fits in, particularly in the Western scene. Lisa had the second best-selling hip hop song in America. (You can argue as much as you want about that song or their raps, but the fact that they are clearly in that hip hop pocket is part of what makes them so marketable in the West compared to other kpop gg.)
I can't see a time where Kazuha, Gauel(?) or Minji's frothy whipped cream "raps" are topping the US hip hop charts. None of them are going to be on a song with Nicki or Megan.
These three groups have catchy songs but the groups themselves aren't very distinguishable or unique. BP is a small group with clearly defined roles and personas. If you know nothing about BP, it's very easy to see their overall style and grasp the members: Lisa and Jennie are the cool girls and the rappers, Rose is the singer and there's another person (sorry, if you don't follow them, it's easy to forget Jisoo).
I think Ive can be another Twice - catchy hits, popular in the kpop niche.
Le Sserafim feels like an Oh My Girl - they'll have some hits but not clear identity or distinguishable aspect.
I don't know with New Jeans - right now their main quality seems to be not like Twice/Ive kpop ggs (less polished, finessed, 'lo-fi'), but is that going to still be a hook 2 years from now?
