Its not that people hate girl crush it's just that it's so overdone now and never executed well along with the fact that most girl crush songs sound alike.

I like the girl crush concept :>, but for the songs it all depends on how it's put together and how it sounds.

I'd rather girl groups have to pretend to be badasses then be exploited and have to do sexy concepts and act like they are 7 with too much aegyo.

For me, girl crush gets repetitive. It wouldn't be so bad if girl crush groups could also do other things frequently, but it seems like many get stuck in the stereotype and limited creatively.

I'd rather talk about the actual music than about the "group concept". Concepts are only interesting if they produce good music. If you can do the Spice Girls thing for girl power, and make catchy-as-hell music, great. Otherwise, girl crush can also seem like a form of exploitation, because companies use the concept to exploit feminism instead of genuinely acting feminist towards their artists.

Internationally yea. But not in Korea where the term K-pop comes from. Also all the moneys and fan events in Korea.

Period! GC is way over hated. Like I understand that some of it is lazy but that is the same with every other concept. But the ones that are good are immaculate!
