I was also wondering if Talk That Talk would be popular in Japan because it has the vibe that their original Twice Japanese title tracks have. It literally reminds me so much of one of their Japanese tracks and I've seen some others say it as well.

Yeah, I guess international fans like TTT more as a whole. 
The way that we have to depend on Koreans to make Twice chart on all the "important" charts for streaming and vote for them for music shows (GaON, MelOn, music shows, etc...)
I'm really wishing we could do something to influence Korean charting and music show wins.

Yep, I know! That reminds me of all of the comments from Thrice that were pretty loud pretty much pre-international debut (The Feels) about how badly they would flop when they made their international debut. I remember it since even before I was a ONCE...I'm pretty sure after The Feels, they shut up for a long time. 
Yep. As ONCE we keep winning, as Twice, they have the best fanbase backing them up right now which they absolutely deserve 
I also found it interesting how Billboard is only counting towards album sales. And for some reason, every new album they release, it seems to break the record that the last one set.
I don't think Twice is going to slow down any time soon. I just wish their Korean, both GP and fans, were more into Twice's charting. But they are still doing pretty decent (doesn't mean there's no room for improvement though!)

Yeah...and maybe it's true that Twice isn't at their peak as far as Korean charting goes and hasn't been for a few comebacks but they are still undoubtedly one of the top GG over there too.
Internationally...that's arguable. I will say, though, that they're growing exponentially. But I would say give it some time since they just debuted nearly a year ago. I think that if their next internationally promoted title song does well then, we can more confidently say that they're that high up there.

Ah, Thai food is really good. My family wanted to try a cuisine they haven't tried before so we ordered from a nearby Thai place and it was DELICIOUS!!
I actually suggested it because I thought of Blackpink Lisa lol and I thought it would be interesting.
My parents haven't tried Korean food. It's really rare up here but there's one restaurant in our town that is predominately Korean. I think I'll see if it could be my birthday dinner with my fam...
