People hated him because he was manly (? which i feel is so funny because korean men always nag about male idols not being manly by their standards so shouldn't have they supported him), didn't pretend to do fanservice (dermatologists and fangirls hate him), was weird, they said he is a tryhard (I thin that's just his personality), and now they hate him because he's fighting a mental illness, did drugs and tried to commit.
