In this situation? Tbh i also don't understand why BTS accepted it and are letting the government just do whatever they want and say whatever they want.
I think staying away from politic is the best idea, a pity Hybe didn't think it.
But i don't know much about this issue, i just see some news that armys post here so that's it.
The government went to their families (Jimin and JK are from Busan) to put pressure on BTS to agree.

Asian society is very much bound by honor and a parent asking something of their child is much more likely to compel them than any one else. I'm sure they are not being "forced" per se, but as for whether they feel it is a duty they must undertake...

I get what you are saying. Obligation imo is synonymous with compelled, especially in our society too. I’m even experiencing something similar. You have to put honour and family first before your own wishes.
