    so why isn't ITZY being ridiculed like Aespa were?
    IVE are more "global" gg than them now but I don't see anyone mentioning ITZY when it's time to compare stats or drag them?

    newjeans have 3 songs in the top 10 and one of the three is about to surpass Sneakers but nobody is saying ITZY are over in sk now.

    why is aespa the group who released a song that is experimental/loud being mentioned when it isn't a fair game?

    if Aespa got a good song choice and better promotions/viral moment none of you would be bullying them constantly

    Oh, ITZY definitely had their time a while back. They were getting ridiculed and hated on for months. But that only means they were doing something right.


    Now folks are doing the same to aespa because aespa made a name for themselves. Don't overthink it. Trust me; even if aespa did get more traditional songs instead of experimental tracks, people would still come for them because haters will hate.


    I haven't even mentioned how there's often unwarranted hate towards SM groups just because there's resentment towards company stans.

    Where has this person been, lmao!? ITZY has been dragged since MITM.


    Once AESPA and STAYC debuted, everyone was saying how ITZY is over. They're flops. They are no longer a top GG.


    It's only now that Sneakers is doing well that people are giving ITZY a break. Mostly because now they are distracted and see an opportunity to drag AESPA and pit NJ and IVE against each other.


    No group is safe. Especially from the Big 4.

    I thought wannabe was very well received?

    Itzy, despite a stumble, carved itself a strong niche.


    A fairly solid identity, very strong live performances and very charismatic and open members that (besides the fake Lia scandal) haven't set a foot wrong.


    I don't think anyone, anywhere really expects them to be the number 1 4th gen GG anymore and I think most fans are FINE with that. Itzy are still very successful, still doing very well and still very popular, and have established themselves as top tier in a number of categories.


    Quite obviously, not everyone can be number 1 in all fields.


    Certain other fandoms need MUCH more reminding of that than Midzy does.
