It’s complicated I suppose. Been like that since debut. Lisa and Jennie’s popularity and fighting fanbases is part of the reason. Jennie being the most pushed member and most popular in korea while Lisa pulled more international fans and had an underdog status. Plus they’re a small group with lots of solo activities. And even within their group activities there’s more focus on the members’ individuality compared to other groups.

This comeback has been pretty peaceful. It’s nice that it hasn’t been ruined by fighting. Feels like everyone is just happy to see them together again

I think it helps that all members were showcased in the way fans wanted.
Rapper Jennie was back and got some insane raps, Lisa was front and centre of the dance and got cool raps, Jisoo got loads of screentime and decent lines, and Rosé had some great parts to showcase her voice.
Agree in general but feel like Rosé was a little sidelined this comeback. I’m hoping for more when the title track comes. But she doesn’t have as loud fans and got a solo last year
fandom wars are the same, members of different groups mostly get along with each other (at least in public) but fans can go over the top in fandom wars.

I do know what you mean. IMO, Pink Venom was more of a Jenlisa type song. It fits their style perfectly. Maybe the title track will be more geared towards Chaesoo.

I don't know. I felt like they got the parts they usually get. In general BP songs don't allow for a lot of diversity with the vocal parts. With rap they experiment more but with vocals, they just do the same thing.

They definitely follow a pattern in terms of the structure, that's for sure! I would like for them to try something a bit different for Chaesoo's vocals.

I feel like it must be so stifling for Rose, she's the only one who has a more genuine passion for music. Lisa is all about dance, Jennie is...well Jennie (when you look like her you don't really need to do anything) and Jisoo is more towards acting.
It must be so boring doing the same part over and over. But I mean all of their songs are made by Teddy, at this point, I feel like they've been doing this for so long they're scared to change it.
