just like a lesser version of regular albums, small packing, maybe postcards/small photobook and CD and thats it
they sell them for like 8$ which is apart of the reason sales are boosted, CBAR take advantage of it the most
also if someone is collect postcards, they might buy 4-5 digipacks instead of 1-2 albums

Most importantly, it's a member version which is why fans buy. It's not all about being cheap version

so it looks just like a regular album plus the most important kpop goodies

Could be several reasons.
YGE knowing about solo stan C Bar boycotts of the regular album, and telling them to fuck off by not allowing them to pick up their faves' digipacks as an alternative.
YGE thinking digipacks would ruin the "expensive" aura of Blackpink, and confident enough that their fans will still shell out big bucks to buy the regular albums.
YGE just being lazy or not caring about sales records, not caring if BP breaks the GG record for album sales, especially since they seem to have no problem charging 50 bucks for a regular album.

Akgaes don't deserve rights though
My thoughts exactly. Imagine listening to BP music and hating any one of the girls and just listening to your fave's part, while trashing the other girls in public. Like how is that enjoyable? Akgaes are trash and deserve dust. They also cause endless drama which make comeback season unenjoyable (like Ice Cream promos being a total mess).
