Okay, I danced for years. I almost went pro, but blew out a knee in college. So that's where I'm coming from when I speak.
Lisa has this really weird stiffness to her torso that is very surprising in someone with as much training as she has. I would expect her to be more fluid there, because it isn't like she's been trained to classical or something where you need a lot of support, but you still see the stiffness where there should be flow. Go watch a bunch of fancams of her, you'll see what I mean. The cut-off shirts that Blackpink often wear do her no favors in that department. Yes we can see her abs, they're lovely. We can also see how stiff her torso becomes when she's dancing. She also frequently forgets her hands. I don't mean she forgets she has them, but her hand positioning isn't as sharp or practiced as I'd normally expect from someone with as much dance training as she has.
Rose overdances, and gets encouraged to do it by fans who don't know better. She also doesn't have as much control as Lisa. She does have better torso fluidity, but has less sharpness in her movements. I could understand why fans would think she's a better dancer, but her technical skills just aren't on par with Lisa's. If I had to pick a dancer, I'd probably take Lisa, because torso fluidity can be trained, and she definitely has more skill.
