We've had a few instances of users getting on the wrong side of certain groups of people and they would get followed from thread to thread and mocked/harrassed no matter what the topic. Anything they posted would get dog piled on. Personal info was spread around in dms. Also, some of the harrassment got taken on to other sites/platforms. I've even heard of doxxing happening. That's bullying.

I guess getting too personal or offensive with a particular user they have singled out for whatever reason, a bit like bullying irl.

uh it's hard to define it here, but as far as I can see, there are little instances that I can really call bullying.
To me, there has to be imbalances in power which can be in numbers or repeated intimidation and aggression that makes someone feel like they are helpless in the situation.
So I kind of defined it for myself but even that's not cut and dry. We are kind of on the same power wavelength here as individuals IMO so if you want to go by numbers, it can technically fit.

No, multiple users quarreling against a single user isn't bullying. That is quarreling/argueing. Tbh I wouldn't count multiple users ganging up and quarreling with a troll, or a problematic user from specific fandoms bullying. It's a disagreement.
The reason why it "looks like bullying" is because people on this forum are not able to have a constructive discussion and it usually delve into people saying stupid shit/past comments brought up/derailing. And they end up having a room in the hotel.
Bullying is more serious, to the extent that the single user is helpless and cannot defend for themselves

well, some users start with negative things and are surprised when the group of fans they attack come and attack back but I saw it in the past a few times. Some users gang up and talk shit about some certain users because they aren't sharing their opinions. Or just because they belong to the wrong fandom. Becoming personal is a No-Go for me.

This must have been the pre-revamp, pre-2021 forum, right?
Generally, current users can move past things and set aside their differences, but those users back then still hold grudges to this day. They still talk in their Discord servers about users they had beef with. They still camp in Anons to say things about them. They try to bring hate to entire fandoms of users they dislike. That's bullying.
The current forum is very tame in that regard. People have their fanwars, but it's more like a sporting event full of banter and trash talk rather than actual hate.
It wasn't from like hacking or leaking. It was former friends doing stuff with personal info they were given. Don't share your info!
I can see that being a possibility with the old forum, as many users gained popularity by sharing details about their personal lives. There's nothing wrong with that if everyone in the friend group had some basic decency, but that obviously wasn't the case. "Falling out" seemed to happen a lot, which led to people trying to slander each other by exposing things said in private.
Current users are a lot more cautious, thankfully so. There's less of a crossover between their AKP life and their real life.
Needless to say, AKP culture has shifted a lot.
