People who say Twice's earlier b-sides are bad don't know what their talking about.

Ok as someone who had listened to every album fully up to twicegram, I disagree, TWICE's b-sides are weak as shit, sooooooo

Their earlier b-sides were definitely weak lol. Twicetagram had some kinda ok ones but its far cry from the b-sides they made since feel special.

Some of my favorite Twice b-sides are pre-2019

Twice's bsides in their earlier days are really weak (except Touchdown). Their music from 2019 onwards is a million times better. Before i didn't listen to Twice's music but now i do

I still feel like they never topped The Story Begins in quality.

But I'd say Twice's albums from Twicecoaster to YoY tended to be mostly chill songs with a few stand out bsides. Not bad but a lot of it wasn't really memorable.

Their albums are a lot more cohesive now and they've explored a lot of different sides

But the Cheer Up and Likey albums Idk their names kinda sucks

There was definitely a point where I thought Twice was quantity over quality.

While 2019+ Twice had more "listenable" b-sides than pre-2019 Twice, the b-sides that were good pre-2019 were really good.

Even if I prefer their current bsides, pre 2019 Twice's bsides are heartwarming and precious. They fulfill a different role

The instrumentals and vocals weren't bad in it, they just don't appeal to most Kpop fans which is why people call them "weak"

yeah, finding good song isn't hard. Every group has some good songs but it's not that common for heartwarming songs, songs that make you happy, songs that makes you emotional, Twice songs have an extraordinary ability to touch you emotionally.

I disagree with a lot of people on here. Music critics have been nothing but in awe of twice's pre fancy discography but kpoppies ofc need unnecessary vocal gymnastics to pass their bar.

Anyway imo Twice is a sure fire bet for any genre I want. I can randomly pick any twice album and be guarenteed absolute bangers. My friend recently broke his phone screen while he was bussing it to stuck from summer nights lol. Pre fancy twice bsides sucks is a cope. Fr.
