LE SSERAFIM became famous because of HYBE / Sakura and Garam Scandal

people ignoring OPs point but the only reason people would check out the group due to garams scandal is because the group is from HYBE + izone members, otherwise this group would've immediately died because of the scandal. so in conclusion most of the attention they got is from being a HYBE group and having izone members but this same point could be applied to any group that has pre debut hype based on company they're in or having members that already debuted from a survival show group we need to see next comeback results to see actual results since debut was mainly from hype

Okay but i wanna say that Garam's scandal might have given them attention but it did also kill their rise fandom wise. People were very uncomfortable with her on the group. It wasnt an "all press is good press" type of situation.

i even remember seeing fandom accounts get deleted or close their accounts on twitter after her scandal escalated people didn't even wanna hype the group anymore because of her presence in the group

Yeah, Chaewon is one of my ults and even i didnt know how to feel. It was a weird situation, became a bit better after they started promoting as 5 but Garam's return was still up in the air so people still were unsure.

I agree although I did like the hook of fearless compared to other resent debuts, the scandal did shine a light on them but I think the song was good enough for me to pay attention.

With or without Garam the group wouldn’t smashed so I don’t understand they may have one of the biggest scandals but they still managed to smash. LSRF was hyped because they had two Izone members, Hybe and Garam barely contributed to their success.

U mean like every other big3 gg whose main fame at the start of career came from being from a company?

And yes having sakura obviously helped just like it helped ive having izone members. I don't see why this is a problem.

doesn't this happen with all produce groups sub group? ofc sakura is more famous because she has been in spotlight for quite a while now!

second their song was really really good! no doubt inthat. bsides were also nice!

third Garam thing did bring a lot of spotlight but she is gone and group is doing fine with 5 members. This scandal didn't do any good to them in my opinion
