Only Kpop fans are to blame for Minor in Kpop not agency....

  • I think it is the fault of two parts. The Agency and the parents/politicans.

I think Agencies have the duty to protect kids but they only see the money they can make. The younger you are, the longer they can earn money with you and the easier you are to manipulate.

Then I see the fault by these who have to protect those minors. Their parents and the politicians. Parents should know that it is not good when children debut too early and politicians should pursue the protection of minors more. But most parents of such children only see the money, success and prestige they get from successful children and most politicians probably only see the financial and economic aspect Kpop groups have for the country.

In my country, for example, there is a law that minors are not allowed to perform after 10 pm.

  • I think korean government is to blame

Lax regulation leads to abuse and precarious working conditions

Why companies keep releasing goodies manufactured in underdeveloped in third world country paying sub average working wages? Because people buy them, as they are less expensive. Are consumers to blame for looking for the less expensive option? Well, partially, but the problem will not solve by itself as nobody is willing to bear the price.

So this is when states step in to prevent even more abusive working conditions.

  • I mean, i just don’t want the coddling.

Kpop fans can’t have it both ways, they CANT support minors, then get upset when minors are subjected to the harsh reality of the kpop industry/public life and act like they aren’t complicit.

I personally think, if minors want to debut, let them. It’s their life, and i personally don’t get the mentality of feeling pity for the rich & famous, but some of you get off to that, so go off.

But if they debut, if companies debut them, if fans support them, then stfu and stop the pearl clutching when they get an ounce of criticism.

The amount of times i’ve seen kpop fans give mild critiques to minors, or even just judging them hard like any other kpop idol, and be told “X is just a minor” and “imagine talking bad about a child etc”

It’s weird af. You can’t participate/promote their life in an industry that is full of abuse, then get upset when it happens.

STFU PLEASE. That’s my only request for kpop fans. Stop crying about situation YOU put them in.

    I totally agree with this

i understand that being harsh with minor is bad

but when you accept minor to debut, support them and say that they can debut if it's their dream

then i also agree that you should not be complain when they are treated like any other idols
