why 4th gen girl groups not consistent as 3rd gen girl groups in korean digitals?

compared to 3rd gen girl groups, 4th gen girl groups are not consistent in korea digitals to become a digital powerhouse. their singles either they hit or miss compared to third gen whose singles always enter top ten irrespective of the song
really? third generation GG always hit the top ten?
or are you only talking about the top 3rd gen groups??? because a blanket statement that always enter top ten irrespective of the song seems a bit doubtful...that they all hit top ten and for every song...

Well in 3rd gen only 5 groups has considered as top girl groups overall.other than g friend remaining 4 groups do well atleast in initial weeks at the height of 3rd gen.
I can't exactly say that 3rd gen top groups do well everytime. I was not known kpop at that time but I see old data on social media platforms and forums the result was positive.

More groups mean more variety and ultimately more choices. If you don’t care for a song that your fave releases, you can just listen to something else until their next comeback. The competition among ggs makes it so that people have a lot more choices and there still isn’t a clear front runner for 4th gen ggs yet.

It's because charts are now based on ULs. It makes much harder for songs to climb
In past you could reach top 10 with few listeners, so groups with sizeable fandoms could debut high and then the GP could listen to them. For instance, NCT got a #1 on Melon with Kick It when their fandom wasn't even half of its size today
Girlgroup fandoms were able to push them to the top 10/20 and then the casual listeners did the rest. Even if the first wave of listeners didn't like the song, the fandom engagement was enough to push it for some days until people get used to it. That's how songs like Signal turned to be hits, I doubt a song like Signal could even managed to reach top 30 in current chart system
Nowadays Girlgroup fandoms can barely push them into the top 100, so the only way for them to get traction is thanks to word-of-mouth or promotions. If the songs "clicks" with people right away they climb, otherwise the song miss higher positions and fail to get traction

Twice was a point of career that they could release the worst song it would smash. I don’t think twice is the right example to talk about fandom power when it comes to digital sales.

that's my point 1 that one obviously can't extend the "always charting" to every group (there were nugu and lesser successful groups) so I took your OP to mean top GG
to the second point maybe the comment should be that (on average???) that top 3rd gen GG do better K charting wise than top 4th GG groups??? would that be the crux of your thread?
