Usually im not very impressed with girgroups and their performances. Their dances look 'basic' (Says the one who sits on the couch all day😶).
But put technicalities aside, Jype Groups such as Itzy (Ryujin, Luna and Yeji are my girls!) have insane stage presence compared to groups from other companies. They are one of the few girl groups who give me 2NE1 vibes based on their swag.
NMIXX had the most confusing debut song ever. But there is a reason that their studio choom performance has 30 million views. The girls are on fire! And I keep on going back to the performance because of how the girls pop and put in their all.
Im surprised that Aespa managed to get more sales than itzy. Isnt kpop supposed to be performance based?
I would argue that the reason BTS is the most popular group is because their performance abilities alone. But of course other factors come in play as well.
