Before WW2 it was common for Japanese politicians to be attacked. Ito Hirobumi, a former (but still very influential) Prime Minister, was killed by a Korean in 1909. This is crazy. I saw reports of him going down yesterday on Twitter, but I had no idea he was shot. I thought he may have suffered a heart attack or something. It's been awhile since a World leader or former World leader was assassinated.

And the fact that Twitter has the video of him getting shot going around with NO censorship is WILD to me. Like wtf, why would I want to see a man as he dies!? I never watch those videos. I don't even want to read about what people are saying on there since videos autoplay.

Nah, not for me. Maybe it's my settings, but when the whole thing with Russia and Ukraine was first starting out, all the videos about the bombings and killings were blurred out with a "Sensitive Content" warning.

people should have put TWs(since i've had those words muted), i almost saw the video of him getting shot, until i saw the comments, and i immediately swiped up twitter. there are also a lot of young children on twitter, hopefully twitter does smt abt it though, this whole incident is just so devastating
