We only have one more date on the teaser JYP out, not two. And after the August comeback, there will be contract negotiations. Twice usually makes a comeback every 4-5 months and August is pretty late in the year for their first group comeback of 2022. So I wonder, is this year going to be the first year where Twice will only have one group Korean release?

It's still unannounced what the August date will be. I just assumed it was a group comeback. But if it's a subunit that means no Korean group comeback this year, which would definitely be a first.

I think they’re going to have a group comeback, they just haven’t announced it yet. They typically have their comebacks around October-November. I could be wrong though.

I think they'll only have one this year, and one comeback per year in the next few years.
That's kind of what I've been hoping. Twice have been giving fans so much content over the past seven years and I think they should slow down and focus on their own solo careers. I think one comeback per year with member solo activities(music, variety, modeling, etc) and time to twice would be good.

if the august date really is a kor comeback, i hope they keep it like this. honestly i'd be fine if twice released 1 korean studio album a year (maybe add either a japanese or english single that year too) and focusing on solo activities the rest of the year. i'd like to see more members do solos, acting, osts, go on variety shows etc. maybe even subunits.
i just hope they stay a group and have at least one promoted ot9 release a year.

I mean, I'd be fine with it if they decide that they want to focus on solo/subunit projects. If they decide that they wanted to make a promotional Japanese, Korean comeback and maybe something for international fans and then go into solo activities, I would be pretty fine with that, ngl.
It wouldn't be the same of course, but as long as they're doing things that make them happy, I'll always be happy as a fan.
