New 4th gen ggs are nowdays debuting with a digital single or they keep releasing single albums instead of mini albums.
Why is that?
Single albums or mini albums it doesn't make a big difference for album sales in case companies care about them the most..
Most fans don't actually use the CDs they buy. Majority will still listen to the songs using music streaming service so it doesn't matter how many songs there's on the album, it's not why fans buy it anyways. Since it has low impact on sales there's no reason for agencies to go through the extra trouble.
Seems like kpop groups are just releasing albums for the sake of making financial gains rather than because they want to present new music.
