Will nayeon be the next taeyon?

Well I sure hope she will go one to have a legacy like tayeon!!

I hope so, but am not so sure.
Taeyeon was always known for her vocal skill, even before Soshi and through it, she had a parallel solo career.
Nayeon does not have that reputation or parallel career. And Nayeon, she isn't about vocals, dance, rap or visuals, but 'idol-ness' which is at the junction of all those and is a personality thing.
Idol-ness best shines in a group, it rarely does well as a solo.
She will do well, given the fame/impact Twice had and she in Twice, but I don't see her matching Taeyeon.
But I will be glad if I am wrong.

Yes because their names are exactly the same except for one letter. How is everyone being so oblivious to this?

I just realized they rhyme lol. And the spelling is the same except for one e in taeyeon.

Taeyeon had hit OST's years before she had her official debut.
I'm a big fan of Taeyeon's solo music and I'd find it hard to categorise it as kpop, she swings more Heize kind of way with emphasis on vocals whereas Nayeon is the quintessential kpop act (born to be an idol is a phrase commonly attached to her for a reason) and her title track sounds it as well.
Heize, IU, Taeyeon, Lee Hi, Kassy, Baek Yerin and a bunch of other popular female Korean soloists don't do very poppy sounds at all. If you think about it, historically most of the biggest soloists in Korea have been ballad singers.
Yena from Izone had a small hit recently with a colour pop song so there definitely is a market for it but it doesn't feel that common so it'll be interesting to see what Nayeon can carve out for herself. There definitely is a market there she can make her own but then I also doubt she'll release solo music consistently like Taeyeon did, it could very much be one mini and then nothing for a few years. I also think all of this means she's not really that comparable to Taeyeon due to the differences in their music.
